What is the difference between scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon emissions?
Scope 1: Direct emissions from company owned assets.
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy.
Scope 3: The emissions indirectly generated by your company.

How do I add my own carbon item?
You are able to add your own carbon emission items using the ‘User Defined’ tab.
Please make sure to input your own TeCO2e carbon information in the correct units.
How have you defined your carbon measurements?
We have defined our carbon measurement with reference to The Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard, Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard and scope 2 guidance as well as the Science Based Targets’ SBTi Criteria.
The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol refers to three types of emissions. The EMIT carbon tool is configured in accordance with these protocols.
What data sources do you use?
